A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fabric Engineer to join a large on-site maintenance team at a prestigious static commercial site in Central London. This is a chance to work with a medium sized service provider who will not only provide a stable working environment but also an environment to grow and develop.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who is looking to grow within a supportive and experienced engineering team. You will be joining a well-established on-site team of around 10 engineers, providing a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals across multiple trades.
The Role
Duties will include a wide range of planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks across the site, including:
- Painting & decorating
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Basic carpentry works
- Repairing doors, handles and locks
- Replacing tiles and Carpet Tiles
- Carrying out general building repairs
- Assisting with office and furniture moves
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Fabric Engineer role in a commercial office environment
- Trade qualification advantageous but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and team-oriented approach
