Salary: £50,500 All-In Package + Overtime

Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off Days Only (7:00am - 7:00pm)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile building for a well-established company offering long-term stability, outstanding benefits, training, and genuine career progression. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a days-only position within a professional and modern environment.

The Role

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding and repair on electrical systems and associated building services equipment
  • Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
  • Supporting subcontractors and specialist engineers on site
  • Completing maintenance reports and updating CAFM systems
  • Providing excellent service within a client-facing environment

Requirements

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience working within commercial building maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
  • Good communication and organisational abilities
  • Stable work history and a proactive attitude
