About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician or Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Norfolk NR4. You will be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician (Shift)
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems.
- Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements of the Maintenance Electrician (Shift)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
- Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
