We are currently recruiting for 3 x Night Shift Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical Bias) to join the on-site engineering team at a well-known commercial building near Holborn, London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, supporting the smooth operation of all building services systems.

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off
8:00pm - 8:00am

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and reactive support of all building services across the site during night shifts. Duties will include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Monitoring and maintaining critical plant and equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance duties
  • AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, HVAC and BMS systems
  • Escorting specialist subcontractors where required
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Supporting the overall reliability and presentation of the building

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working within commercial building maintenance / building services
  • Good understanding of HVAC and M&E systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively during night operations
  • Experience within high-end commercial environments is advantageous
