My client is a Technical M&E & FM company who are recruiting a Shift Leader to work at a commercial office build in Mitcham, managing critical building systems on behalf of a research company occupying the floors. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, capable electrical engineer/lead ready to step into a professional and technical leadership role on a high-profile commercial site.
The Role
- Act as the senior electrical engineer on shift, leading day-to-day technical operations
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services
- Take ownership of electrical systems, plant, and associated infrastructure
- Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly
- Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment
- Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work
About You
- Hold electrical qualifications (Level 3 Electrical Installation & 18th Edition)
- Have solid experience working within commercial building services
- Are confident fault-finding across electrical and wider M&E systems
- Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations
