An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious large commercial tourist site in Kensington. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer with a strong plumbing and building services maintenance background to work on a unique, high-profile site.
The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across plumbing/mechanical building services.
- Working on plumbing systems, pumps, valves, pipework, water systems and associated mechanical plant.
- Fault finding, repairs and general mechanical maintenance.
- Supporting the wider engineering team to ensure the site remains fully operational.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with statutory compliance.
Requirements
- Mechanical/plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Strong plumbing maintenance background.
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance or FM environments.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with pumps, valves, pipework and water systems.
Package
- Days Only Shift Role
- Shift Pattern: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off
- Working Hours: 7am-7pm & 10am-10pm
- £44,000 Basic Salary
- Overtime Available
- ASAP Start Available
