About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large multi-tenanted site near Plumstead station. You will be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
- Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
