We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Leader to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial skyscraper in the heart of Fenchurch Street, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically strong engineer looking to step into a leadership role within a high-profile, state-of-the-art building.
The Role
As Engineering Shift Leader, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of the building's landlord services.
You will ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is completed to the highest standards while maintaining compliance, safety, and exceptional service delivery.
We are open to candidates with either an electrical or mechanical bias, provided they have strong building services experience within a commercial environment.
Lead and support the on-shift engineering team.
Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed efficiently.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of landlord building services.
Liaise with contractors, the client, and building management.
Produce accurate reports and maintain maintenance records.
Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience working within high-end commercial buildings or critical environments.
Previous experience supervising or leading an engineering team is desirable.
Strong knowledge of building services, including HVAC, electrical systems, pumps, generators, UPS, BMS, and associated plant.
AP (Authorised Person) Bonus.

Continental day shifts (7:00am 7:00pm).
