An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM Engineering Maintenance provider, supporting a prestigious large corporate & commercial site based in Milton Keynes.
This is primarily a site-based role, with four days per week spent as the resident engineer on site and one day per week providing mobile engineering support to a small portfolio of nearby sites.
The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical building services.
- Fault finding and repairing electrical systems and associated plant.
- Acting as the sole resident engineer on site, managing day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Providing mobile maintenance support to other local client sites one day per week.
- Liaising with the client and ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with statutory compliance.
Requirements
- Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- Able to work independently and manage a single-man site.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
