We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities and engineering team based in Blackburn. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern.

The Role

You'll take the lead on all engineering activity across the site, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to the highest standard while supporting and mentoring the wider engineering team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the prompt completion of all planned, reactive and remedial work orders
  • Providing routine and specialist engineering maintenance and breakdown support on site
  • Offering technical, health, safety and environmental support across the facility
  • Training, mentoring and supporting site-based technicians and engineering assistants
  • Providing engineering advice and support to site management
  • Leading by example and helping build a strong, collaborative team culture
