About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large commercial site in Wigston, Leicestershire (LE18). You will be responsible for overseeing a technical engineering team, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered effectively across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Supervisor
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across electrical systems and building services equipment.
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance when required.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Support and coordinate a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements of the Electrical Supervisor
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer position within a commercial or critical environment.
- Strong fault-finding ability and good knowledge of building services systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
