Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – Waterloo Salary: £60,000 per annum Location: Waterloo, London Working for the Client Direct Large Commercial Building We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join the engineering team at a large, prestigious commercial building in Waterloo. This is a client-side position, offering the opportunity to work directly for the building owner/operator and play a key role in ensuring the electrical systems and services across the site are maintained to a high standard. The Role As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day electrical maintenance operation, ensuring planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising electrical maintenance activities across the building. Managing and coordinating engineers and contractors. Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Ensuring all electrical systems are maintained in line with statutory and site requirements. Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are completed safely and correctly. Maintaining accurate records, permits, reports and compliance documentation. Responding to electrical faults and coordinating appropriate remedial works. Supporting the Facilities/Engineering Management team with day-to-day building operations. Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures and electrical compliance requirements are followed. About You The successful candidate will have: Level 3 Electrical qualification – essential. Proven experience within commercial building maintenance. Previous experience in a supervisory or senior electrical maintenance role. Strong knowledge of electrical building services and maintenance. Experience overseeing contractors and maintenance teams. Good understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance. Strong communication and organisational skills. A professional approach and the ability to work directly with a client and building stakeholders.
