Business Development Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £60,000£65,000 + car allowance
Working Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working
The Opportunity:
We are working with a leading UK building services organisation to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing Business Development team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with a strong understanding of M&E engineering, building services and technical compliance to develop new business opportunities across the North West and Midlands.
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships and working closely with operational and estimating teams to deliver commercially strong solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and secure new M&E maintenance and technical compliance opportunities across target sectors.
- Build strong relationships with managing agents, property owners, asset managers, surveyors, consultants and occupiers.
- Develop strategic account plans to generate new business and expand existing client relationships.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, industry functions and site visits to identify and convert opportunities.
- Engage confidently with technical consultants and stakeholders, demonstrating a strong understanding of M&E engineering and statutory compliance.
- Review client specifications, maintenance requirements and tender documentation to identify commercial opportunities and risks.
- Work collaboratively with operational and estimating teams to develop competitive and commercially viable solutions.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and challenge commercial assumptions where appropriate. xgikmsk
