We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities management team at a prestigious site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking a stable, long-term role with strong earning potential, ongoing training, and clear progression into supervisory and management positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Maintain and repair lighting and emergency lighting systems
- Fault-find and maintain power distribution systems
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems
- Work on AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
- Diagnose and repair faults across a wide range of electrical systems
- Work confidently with 3-phase systems
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively as part of a shift engineering team
Requirements:
- (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical)
- Experience within a commercial building services environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of building systems including AHUs, FCUs, and fire alarm systems
