We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading Facilities Management and Maintenance provider, overseeing contracts across London and the South. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of FM and maintenance services.

The Role:

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and delivery of FM and maintenance contracts, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations. You will oversee operational teams, manage financial performance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple FM and maintenance contracts across London and the South
  • Oversee M&E services including HVAC, electrical systems, and building services maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards
  • Lead and support operational teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor contract performance against KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and overall contract profitability
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth, service improvement, and additional works
  • Produce reports and provide regular operational and financial updates to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager within Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Building Services
  • Strong M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) background is essential
  • Experience managing contracts within commercial or corporate environments
  • Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance standards
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services, Engineering, or similar) preferred
