An excellent opportunity has arisen for a couple of Shift Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical) to join the engineering team at a large multi-tenanted corporate office building in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-end commercial environment as part of an established on-site engineering team, supporting a modern, technically demanding building.

The Role:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical or mechanical building services systems.
  • Supporting critical plant and general M&E systems throughout a large commercial building.
  • Fault finding, repairs and remedial works across a multi-tenanted site.
  • Participating in planned maintenance shutdowns and out-of-hours works when required.
  • Working closely with the wider shift engineering team to maintain high service standards and site uptime.

The Site:

  • Large corporate office building 16 floors with multiple tenants.
  • Established shift engineering team onsite.
  • High-end commercial environment in Central London.

Shift Pattern:

  • Continental days and nights (7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am).
  • Rotating shift pattern including days, nights and rest periods.

Package:

  • £48,000 - £50,000 basic salary.
  • 20 shift days annual leave.
  • Season ticket loan (after qualifying period).
  • Pension scheme.

Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
