About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large corporate/critical site near Bank station. You will be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC and mechanical systems within a modern corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
