We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Leader to join a busy building services environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an electrically biased engineer with strong general building maintenance experience, including HVAC and BMS systems based just a short walk from Liverpool street.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise electrical engineers on shift
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Support and oversee general building services maintenance
- Monitor and respond to HVAC systems, BMS alarms and plant issues
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, permits to work and site procedures
- Coordinate with site management and external contractors
- Support fault finding and continuous improvement activities
- HV switching and isolations where trained
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience as an Electrical Shift Leader / Senior Electrical Engineer
- Strong background in building maintenance / facilities management
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS and associated plant
- Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
- HV experience or Authorised Person status desirable but not essential
- Good leadership, communication and organisational skills
