We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive strategic growth across FM, M&E, and Hard Services within a well-established and growing organisation. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on developing relationships, securing high-value opportunities, and leading successful commercial negotiations from initial engagement through to contract award.
The Role
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across FM, M&E, and Hard Services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, consultants, and clients
- Lead tender submissions, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Drive strategic growth initiatives and support long-term business objectives
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award
- Collaborate with operational and senior leadership teams to ensure successful bid delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Represent the business professionally within the industry and at client meetings
About You
We are looking for a confident and results-driven business development professional with a strong background in Facilities Management or Building Services.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience operating at Business Development Director level or within a senior commercial leadership role
- Strong background within Facilities Management, Building Services, M&E, or Hard Services
- Demonstrable track record of winning and developing large-scale FM or M&E contracts
- Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking ability
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven approach
- Full UK driving licence preferred
