This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll lead a team of four engineers while maintaining excellent relationships with tenants, ensuring a first-class maintenance service is delivered across high-end commercial office buildings.
The Role
As the Electrical Engineering Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day engineering operations, leading a team of four engineers and ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed to the highest standards while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of four electrical and multi-skilled maintenance engineers.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the team's daily workload across multiple commercial office buildings.
- Oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
- Act as the main engineering contact for tenants, ensuring maintenance issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Monitor contractor performance and manage specialist subcontractors on site.
- Assist with planning maintenance schedules, permits to work and risk assessments.
- Provide technical support and electrical fault-finding when required.
- Ensure all maintenance records and compliance documentation are accurately completed using the CAFM system.
- Build strong working relationships with both the client and building occupiers, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
- Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience supervising or leading engineering teams within commercial building maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
- Experience working within occupied commercial office environments.
- A confident leader with excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
