We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile building for a well-established company offering long-term stability, outstanding benefits, training, and genuine career progression. The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repair on electrical systems and associated building services equipment
- Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors
- Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
- Supporting subcontractors and specialist engineers on site
- Completing maintenance reports and updating CAFM systems
- Providing excellent service within a client-facing environment
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Stable work history and a proactive attitude
