Are you an experienced Facilities Management professional looking to take ownership of a high-profile contract with a leading FM service provider? We are seeking an Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a hard FM contract in East London. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
The Role
- As Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for contract performance, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and financial success.
- You'll lead a team of engineers and supervisors, drive operational standards, and act as the primary point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the contract with full accountability for performance.
- Manage and develop engineers and supervisors, driving high standards and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee contract budgets, costs, and commercial performance.
- Ensure delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Drive compliance, health & safety, and operational excellence across the account.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and added value.
About You
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Contract Manager, or similar FM leadership role.
- Strong facilities management background, ideally within hard FM environments.
- Technical qualification or background, preferably electrical.
- Experience leading engineering teams and subcontractors.
- Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and contract performance.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive individual who takes ownership and delivers results.
