An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a maintenance team, overseeing on-site engineers and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient building services operations.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in an engineering maintenance environment
- Experience supervising and managing on-site engineers
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds LVL 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
- CSCS card (and ECS card if electrically qualified)
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering maintenance and breakdown support
- Manage reactive & planned maintenance activities
- Control and report on repair & maintenance budgets
- Support health, safety, environmental, and energy initiatives
- Liaise with senior management and regional engineering support
- Provide cover across local cluster sites when required (on-call)
