I’m currently recruiting for an Account Manager opportunity within Building Services / Facilities Management, overseeing a large static site within the Higher Education sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven professional to take ownership of a flagship account with full responsibility for operational delivery, client relationships and financial performance.

The successful candidate will oversee a large on-site engineering operation with responsibility for a portfolio generating approximately £4 million P+L, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance and client satisfaction across the site. The role will focus on leading engineering and operational teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, driving commercial performance and ensuring all hard services are delivered safely and effectively within a busy, client-facing environment.

Ideal for candidates with:

  • Previous Account Manager or Senior Contract Manager experience within Building Services/FM
  • Strong understanding of M&E maintenance operations within large commercial environments
  • Experience managing large static sites or critical environments
  • Proven experience managing P+L responsibility circa £4m+
  • Strong commercial awareness and WIP management experience
  • Experience managing engineers, subcontractors and operational teams
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of compliance, H&S and service delivery standards
  • Ability to lead teams and drive operational performance within a fast-paced environment
