We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Staffordshire ST14. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Fault-finding and remedial repairs on pumps, motors, HVAC systems, pipework, and associated plant equipment.
  • Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical plant and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
