Location: Swindon SN3
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shifts: 07:00-15:30 / 10:30-19:00 Split Shift, Monday to Friday (+ on-call)
About the Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large mulit-use commercial building in Swindon.
You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering fault-finding, repairs and planned and reactive maintenance across a large commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- * Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the property.
- * Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- * Complete fault-finding and remedial repairs on mechanical building services.
- * Carry out general repairs and maintenance.
- * Work alongside other engineering and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
- * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- * Minimum of 3 years’ building services experience.
- * Proven experience in a commercial or similar building environment.
- * Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
