Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Property Asset Management – London – Up to £50,000 Per Annum + Car Allowance + Benefits

Based in London, the Property Asset Management department is looking to recruit a Senior Surveyor to work within the Central London Team. Our clients are specialists in managing prestigious Central London assets for a variety of clients, many of which are overseas and rely on their experience and professionalism.

Job Role:

1. Collaborating with the client accounting team to produce annual service charge budgets, approve reconciliations, and generate rent raising reports.
2. Possessing strong experience in client reporting and deadline management, including meeting both internal and client expectations.
3. Coordinating with Facilities Managers on service charge budgeting and reporting, as well as conducting regular monitoring and reporting of service charge expenditures.
4. Managing all aspects of property management functions, including rent collection, service charge management, and maintaining the landlord-tenant relationship.
5. Performing regular property inspections.
6. Developing a solid understanding of the business, maintaining sound business knowledge, and staying aware of the competition.
7. Communicating effectively to ensure efficient and professional business management.
8. Having a thorough understanding of landlord and tenant issues and actively pursuing asset management opportunities.

Skills Required:

1. MRICS qualified (preferred) with at least 1-2 years post-qualified experience with a Commercial Property Management Team.
2. Property management experience across a variety of asset classes in Central London.
3. Landlord and Tenant experience would be beneficial.
4. Ability to work as part of a committed London team and PAM department as a whole.
5. The experience, ability, and enthusiasm to help deliver first-class property management services.
6. The creativity to produce clear, concise, and accurate reports and other written communications.
7. The capacity to respond effectively and professionally towards other parties with whom business is being carried out.
