We are recruiting an Electrical Day Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of a data centre environment. This role offers a stable weekday working pattern with additional on-call earnings and the opportunity to gain HVAP status.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
- Fault finding and repairs on critical electrical infrastructure
- Supporting site compliance, safety, and operational standards
- Participation in a 1 in 4 on-call rota
- Covering shift duties when required during on-call periods
- Supporting both Doxford and Wynyard sites when on call (pool van provided)
About You
- Electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications
- Experience in critical or commercial environments preferred
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to pass security clearance
What’s On Offer
- Salary: £41,000
- £150 per week standby (1 in 4 on-call rota – £1,950 per year before call-outs)
- £1,500 for attaining HVAP status
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Security: Must be able to pass security clearance
