Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime Available Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
  • Install, service, and maintain a range of mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who has

  • Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar.
  • A recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
  • Good communication skills.
