Package: £42,000 inclusive of allowances

Working Hours: Monday to Friday splits, 7am-4pm/8am – 5pm

Out of hours expectations: 1 in 3 weeks Call Out - Escalation only

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team, covering a commercial site in Southend. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical & basic mechanical systems.
  • Perform maintenance checks and repairs on UPS, Circuit Breakers, fire alarms, emergency lighting, distribution boards and other building systems.
  • Carry out checks to building/plant equipment and systems such as Generators, Splits, AHU/FCU’s, Motors, Pumps etc.
  • Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in a 1 in 3 call-out rota to provide emergency support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering plus 18th Edition.
  • Proven experience in a similar M&E maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving license.
