Are you a skilled Building Services Engineer looking for a well-paid shift role within a large, fast-paced commercial environment? Join an established facilities management team supporting a major retail and leisure destination, delivering critical M&E maintenance across a complex site. This is a multi-skilled shift role, ideally suited to an electrically biased engineer, though mechanically qualified engineers with strong multi-skilled experience are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of M&E building services systems.
- Electrical maintenance including lighting, power distribution, and compliance testing.
- Mechanical support across AHUs, FCUs, pumps, plumbing, and water systems.
- Completing PPM and reactive tasks across both infrastructure and facilities areas.
- Responding to faults and breakdowns within a busy commercial environment.
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance requirements.
Shift Pattern
Shifts operate on the below pattern:
- 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
- 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
- 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on
- 2 nights off, 2 nights on, 3 nights off
What's On Offer
- Salary: Up to £46,800 per annum.
- Shift Pattern: Structured Pitman rota (days & nights).
- Annual Leave: 25 days per annum.

Ideal Candidate
- Electrical Engineer qualified to Level 3 (ideal), or Mechanical Engineer Level 3 with strong multi-skilled experience.
- Proven experience working within a commercial or retail building services environment.
- Comfortable working across both electrical and mechanical plant.
- Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
- Able to pass a basic background check (Basic DBS).
