About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor or a junior Associate Director to join an industry-leading firm in their Affordable Housing Valuation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled valuation professional to lead and expand a Valuation & Advisory team, within the affordable housing sector. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality valuation reports, advising clients on investment opportunities, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage affordable housing valuation projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS standards.
  • Provide expert valuation advice to housing associations, local authorities, investors, and developers.
  • Conduct valuations for loan security, portfolio analysis, development appraisals, and regulatory purposes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, government policies, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.

Requirements

  • MRICS & RICS registered valuer with a strong background in residential or affordable housing valuation.

  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a track record of business development and revenue generation.
