We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Building Services Engineer to join a growing and well-established facilities management company covering a portfolio of commercial office buildings across Oxford and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with genuine opportunities for overtime, training, and career progression.

The Role

As a Mobile Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial office sites. You will work across mechanical and basic electrical systems, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial office buildings
  • Fault finding and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Maintenance of HVAC, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, lighting, and basic plumbing
  • General building services maintenance
  • Completing service reports and compliance paperwork
  • Liaising with clients and site teams professionally
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in building services / facilities maintenance
  • Experience working within commercial environments
  • Mechanical or electrical qualifications preferred
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
