Salary: £40,000 – £42,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Call Out: 1 in 4 rota (£150 standby rate)

I'm working with a well-established facilities management company that is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias for a large commercial office site based in Wembley. This is a full-time, permanent position working as part of a close-knit on-site team.

The Role:

You’ll be part of a team of three engineers (1 Supervisor and 1 fellow Electrical Engineer), carrying out a mix of PPM, reactive maintenance, and compliance tasks across a large and busy site. Due to the nature of the building, there is a consistent flow of work and varied systems to maintain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical maintenance across the site, including lighting, distribution boards, and circuits
  • Servicing and testing of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
  • Carrying out PPM schedules, fault finding, and day-to-day repairs
  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and call-outs as required
  • Working collaboratively within a small, experienced team
  • Assisting with first-time resolution and keeping the site fully operational

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified electrically (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with commercial building experience
  • Strong understanding of building systems and electrical compliance
  • Experience with fire alarms, emergency lighting, and general electrical maintenance
  • Comfortable working within a team and independently when needed
  • Willingness to take part in the 1-in-4 call-out rota
