A leading FM company is looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple commercial, education, and industrial sites, carrying out planned and reactive electrical building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM & reactive maintenance on electrical building systems and plant equipment
- Working on general building services – Mechanical & some fabric works
- Work across a variety of sites, ensuring high standards of maintenance and compliance
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota
- Opportunity for overtime and further training to enhance career progression
Role Overview:
The role of a Mobile Maintenance Engineer is to carry out the PPM and reactive repairs to electrical & some mechanical services. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the Operations Manager from time to time.
Technical Responsibilities:
Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs, pumps, motors, heating system fault finding and awareness).
Relevant Work Experience Includes:
- Emergency lighting
- AHU’s, FCU’s
- Pumps, Motors
- Fans, Belts, Filters
- General maintenance
Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have:
- At least 3 years experience in electrical building services
- Full UK CLEAN Driving Licence
- 18th edition
- City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical level 3 installation or equivalent
- Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client-facing role
