A large healthcare provider is currently looking for a mechanical engineer to join one of their portfolios in North London. If you are looking to develop your skills within a job role in a fast-paced, well-respected company then this could be the right job for you.
My client based in the facilities maintenance industry is looking for a confident outgoing engineer that can use his/her own initiative to produce results. The position is a temporary to permanent opportunity lasting 3 months on the temporary side.
Salary: The rate of pay for this position is up to £28 per hour and an annual salary of £45,000.
Work Hours: 4 on 4 off Days only, 12 hour shifts 7am to 7pm.
Responsibilities and duties:
- PPM and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and competent to rectify
- Regular fire alarm testing and drills. Ensuring the fire equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book
- Liaise with management regarding health and safety procedures/issues, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services.
- Assisting with basic fabric duties on site
Requirements:
- Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing
- Must be able to obtain a basic DBS
- Experience in commercial building services
- General maintenance experience
- Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
