A leading Facilities Management service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Authorised Person (AP) Engineer to join the engineering team in Roehampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a healthcare environment as part of a well-established team of 9 engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties as Mechanical Authorised Person within a live hospital environment
  • Ensure compliance with HTM standards, health & safety regulations, and site procedures
  • Oversee and support maintenance activities across critical mechanical systems
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision for specialist contractors and engineering staff
  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of ventilation, medical gas, and pressure systems
  • Participate in planned preventative maintenance and reactive works as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and permit systems

Requirements

  • Candidates must currently hold or previously have held one or more of the following AP qualifications:
  • AP Ventilation
  • AP Medical Gas
  • AP Pressure Systems
