A leading facilities management provider is looking for a Water Hygiene Technician to join their national water hygiene team, covering sites across the North West.

The Role

You'll carry out inspections, monitoring, sampling and audits in line with ACoP L8 and company procedures — ensuring statutory compliance and high standards across all sites. The role involves regular travel, including occasional overnight stays.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering statutory water hygiene activities in line with ACoP L8 and Water Regulations
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits, sampling and reporting within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records
  • Liaising professionally with site teams and raising remedial actions where needed

What You'll Need

  • Experience in Legionella or water hygiene
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • PC literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Flexibility with hours and travel

Desirable

  • City & Guilds WH003, WH004 or WH005 qualifications
