We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Service BMS Engineer to join a growing and well-established building controls business operating across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable BMS professional with strong experience across all aspects of Building Management Systems, from servicing and commissioning through to fault finding and client support.
The Role
As a Full Service BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a complete range of BMS engineering services across commercial and industrial sites. You will work independently and as part of a wider engineering team to ensure systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in line with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and reactive support on BMS systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and system rectification
- Commissioning and modification of BMS controls
- Software adjustments, graphics, and system optimisation
- Carry out site surveys and technical assessments
- Support project delivery and small works upgrades
- Provide technical support and excellent customer service
- Produce accurate service reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Requirements
- Strong experience working across all aspects of BMS engineering
- Proven knowledge of major BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, or similar
- Experience with servicing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/control drawings
- Strong understanding of HVAC plant and controls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
