Engineering Maintenance Manager in Maidstone

OverviewEngineering Maintenance Manager – Kent Commercial Portfolio. Salary £55,000-£60,000 per year plus Travel/Car Allowance. Location: Kent (covering Dartford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Ashford & Folkestone).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the maintenance team across the commercial portfolio.

Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.

Ensure all sites operate safely and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Monitor contractor performance and manage service providers effectively.

Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on maintenance, costs, and performance.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities or property maintenance management, preferably within a commercial portfolio.

Strong technical knowledge across building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).

Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence for travel between sites.
