We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nights Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a high-profile commercial site in Canary Wharf. This is a permanent role offering excellent long-term benefits, stability, and career progression within a professional engineering environment.
The Role
As a Nights Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all electrical and associated building services during night hours. You’ll be working within a well-structured team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining high compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Electrical fault finding, repairs, and testing
- Monitor and maintain building services systems
- Ensure statutory compliance and accurate record keeping
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies
- Liaise with site management and specialist contractors when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical bias with strong building services experience
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification or Degree equivalent
- Proven experience within commercial environments
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and associated plant
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to health & safety and compliance
Package & Benefits:
- £56,883 basic salary
