We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer to join the onâsite engineering team at a prestigious City of London skyscraper, just a short walk from Fenchurch Street. Working Monday to Friday you will be responsible for maintaining critical building services across a highâprofile, fastâpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building systems
- Fault finding and repairs on fan coil units (FCUs), TMVs, lighting systems, pumps, AHUs and general HVAC plant
- Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting (depending on skill bias)
- Ensuring building compliance, safe systems of work and high engineering standards
- Supporting BMS operation and responding to alarms
- Working closely with the onâsite engineering team to maintain a worldâclass facility
Skills & Experience
- Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Strong experience with fan coil units, TMVs, lighting, and general building services equipment
- Confident working autonomously on a shift basis
- Excellent communication and clientâfacing skills
- Proven background in commercial building maintenance â preferably highârise or critical sites
