I am currently looking to speak to M&E Site Supervisors/Managers for a Site Manager role based near London Blackfriars. The need is for an Electrical bias Supervisor or Manager to run a small engineering team day to day at a Corporate HQ, ensuring the site is running smoothly and continuing to provide an efficient service of maintenance across electrical and building services.

This company is highly recognised and is one where all staff will learn and develop their career and skill set. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all PPM reactive maintenance is carried out, supervise contractors and deal with the client directly. Working hours will be Monday-Friday 8-5 with overtime and attend shutdowns when required. Excellent benefits offered such as AP Training, Private Healthcare, Overtime and more.

The Role

  • As the M&E Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the building services, while leading and supporting the onsite engineering team.
  • Managing and supporting a team of M&E engineers.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
  • Ensuring all Mechanical & Electrical systems are maintained to a high standard.
  • Managing contractors and subcontractors onsite.
  • Monitoring PPM schedules and ensuring works are completed on time.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and prioritising workloads.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections.
  • Ensuring all health & safety and compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and site documentation.
  • Liaising with the client and providing regular updates on site performance.
  • Assisting with audits, compliance checks and engineering projects.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in corporate building services, ideally with previous supervisory or team-leading experience.

  • Previous experience in an M&E / Building Services environment.
  • Experience supervising engineers or contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of either Mechanical or Electrical building services.
  • Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deal confidently with clients and contractors.
  • Relevant technical qualifications.
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Skills Required:

  • With at least 7 years experience in building services.
  • Core qualifications are key in this role; the minimum requirement is Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role.
