About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large commercial site in East London.

You’ll be leading a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
