The Role: We’re currently recruiting a M&E Manager within our Stadium Operations department to help us take things to the next level. You will report to the Head of Stadium Facilities and will directly manage, oversee and coordinate a multi-skilled engineering team and specialist contractors. You will be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or services and will implement repairs that limit impact to operations and event delivery needs.
About You:
- Alongside the Technical Contracts/Optimization Manager maintain an up-to-date PPM and PEAP schedule for all in-house tasks and drive task completion with the supervisors via CAFM service delivery stats and reports.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Accomplishes maintenance and HR objectives by selecting, planning, training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees and suppliers.
- Clearly communicating job expectations and timelines, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal codes of practice and regulations.
- Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventative maintenance program: operating and testing systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
- Meets maintenance financial standards by providing information for annual budget, monitoring expenditure and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment inventory and agreed minimum stock levels.
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization SLA and KPI’s by completing related results in-line with the CAFM system process.
- Point of call for escalation of daily and out of hours maintenance faults and fulfil matchday technical manager duties on rotation with Senior Technical Services Manager and Technical Contracts/Optimisation Manager.
- Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency and identify potential energy saving initiatives via building analytics.
- Carry out regular audits to ensure the high standards and statutory compliance of the facilities are maintained, and to identify and resolve issues and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs.
- Assist with internal and external audits as necessary.
- Ensure that all maintenance logs and reports are kept up to date and can be promptly evidenced.
- Available as part of the operations team for specialist projects.
- Manage engineering team rota, ensuring sufficient and capable resource available for all bowl events.
- L8 Responsible person post holder as designated by duty holder.
What you will bring:
- A relevant trade qualification (such as City & Guilds 2365) or equivalent NVQ level 3.
- Several years’ experience of leading multi-skilled maintenance teams in commercial buildings.
- Health and Safety training such as IOSH.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC and drainage systems.
- Authorised Person for LV/HV would be desirable.
- BMS/LCS and EMS experience desirable.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of safe working practices.
