We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer for a foot mobile role covering commercial office environments across the City and West End. This is an exciting opportunity for a handsâon engineer to work across multiple sites and take ownership of mechanical systems in highâprofile commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical maintenance and engineering tasks across multiple commercial office sites
- Work on a variety of building systems including AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), pumps, valves, and associated plant
- Carry out fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and siteâspecific procedures
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers as required
- Travel across City and West End sites on a footâmobile basis
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering in commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, valves, and pumps
- FâGas qualification preferred (support available to gain qualification if not already held)
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple sites efficiently
- Excellent problemâsolving and communication skills
