Overview
We are working with a leading provider of maintenance services for commercial gas systems across a portfolio of commercial properties (mostly offices). Due to continued growth, we are expanding our engineering team and seeking experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to join our business. This is a hands‐on, client‐facing role focused on safety, compliance, and high‐quality service delivery.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Gas Engineer
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, repairs, and compliance checks on commercial gas systems, including heating, hot water, and plumbing.
- Undertake mechanical works such as pump replacements and associated plant maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise system downtime.
- Provide clear technical information and recommendations to support quoting for repairs and replacements.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in full compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of works using CAFM systems and other IT reporting tools.
About You as the Commercial Gas Engineer
- Hold relevant and current ACS qualifications and are Gas Safe registered.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar commercial gas role.
- Strong communication skills with a professional approach to client interaction.
- Competent at user level with IT systems, including CAFM, reporting tools, and email.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.
