We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Day Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities and engineering company based in Docklands, East London. The Role:

As a Day Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of building services systems within a high-profile commercial environment. You will work as part of a professional engineering team ensuring all plant and equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Shift Pattern:

  • 4 on / 4 off
  • Days only
  • 7:00am – 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Working on HVAC, lighting, pumps, motors, and general building services equipment
  • Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
  • Electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
