Job Title: Lead Shift Engineer Location: Braintree, Essex Working hours: 4 on 4 off, Days & Nights (7 – 7, 12 hr shifts) Salary: £46,000 per annum + Training + Organised progression plans Company: Well-Established Facilities Management Company About the Role: I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my client’s team, to be based at a busy commercial site in Braintree. In this role, you will primarily oversee a team of 4 engineers who perform maintenance tasks across this large environment. You will spend 50% of your time off the tools focusing on leadership duties, with the flexibility to assist with hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks when necessary. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and motivate the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. * Perform individual PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. * Lead the team to achieve KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements. * Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues. * Oversee RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. * Provide technical support to the engineering team to assist with M&E planned & reactive repair/maintenance tasks.
