A leading Facilities Management Provider is looking for an experienced M&E Engineer to join their team on a prestigious static site in Kings Hill, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a key contract for a major FM provider, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance within a professional commercial environment.
The Role
As the site-based M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring building services are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out PPMs in line with site schedules
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintaining plant room equipment and building services
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
- Completing maintenance reports and job documentation
- Supporting the wider engineering team when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial maintenance / FM environment
- Electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Good fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of building services systems
- Ability to work independently on a static site
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
